• The Diagnostic Sales Associate (DSA) focuses on Business Development by generating leads for the Diagnostic Sales Managers (DSM), and through promotion of Antech’s products and services. • The DSA works closely with Field Marketing to execute marketing programs and add value to clients by promoting useful services. • Engage with the account by sharing appropriate product information and tracking progress of all leads. • Follow up on all incoming sales and marketing leads in an extremely expedited manner (less than 24 hours) and qualify each prospect accurately. • Communicates and collaborates across the sales and marketing team, including all sales roles, customer success, and customer support with a focus on team selling and winning.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field, or equivalent on-the-job experience. • 1+ years previous sales experience with a background in telephone, retail sales or customer service preferred • Preference for veterinary industry and/or diagnostics experience • Ability to work collaboratively • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment • Highly focused with a strong desire to “hunt” and close new business • Strong phone sales skills, understanding of the sales process, and the ability to make high volume outbound calls to build a prospective client list • Drive to achieve goals/targets • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Occasional Travel may be required, up to 20% of the time.
