Description

• Lead and Inspire: Build, mentor, and empower a world-class engineering organization that spans multiple time zones • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with Movement Labs’ mission and business objectives • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Developer Relations, Business Development, Marketing, Legal, and other teams to align technical priorities with business needs • Operational Excellence: Drive roadmap planning, project execution, and delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget • Culture Building: Foster a collaborative, innovative, and accountable engineering culture • Team Development: Establish systems for performance monitoring, professional growth, and retention of top engineering talent • Recruitment: Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract and hire exceptional engineering talent • Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on architecture, tools, and technologies to ensure scalability, security, and long-term success.

Requirements

• Proven Leadership: 10+ years of experience in engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles such as Director, VP, or CTO in high-growth startups or technology organizations • Technical Expertise: Strong technical background, ideally with experience in blockchain technologies, distributed systems, or other deep technical domains • Global Experience: Experience managing and scaling teams across multiple time zones and cultural contexts • Strategic Vision: Ability to align engineering priorities with business strategy and translate them into actionable roadmaps • Operational Excellence: Demonstrated success in implementing processes, systems, and metrics to drive efficiency and effectiveness across engineering teams.
