Description

• The HIV Community Liaison (CL) is a key member of the Virology Team in the Global Human Health Division. • Supports customer-centric business model and develops relationships with Community Organizations. • Engages Allied Healthcare Professionals in community initiatives and provides approved resources to institutions. • Supports educational needs related to virology topics and patient management. • Collaborates with sales and marketing teams for information on resources and medications. • Ensures activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree required; Science or Healthcare major and/or Advanced Science, Public Health or Allied Healthcare Degree preferred • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the field of Virology (CBO, Clinic, Pharmaceutical Company) • Previous pharmaceutical industry experience (i.e. Sales, Marketing or Community Relations) and/or experience working in patient education • Strong understanding of the HIV therapeutic area and the current marketplace • Ability to understand and communicate complex scientific and public health related concepts at an appropriate literacy level to diverse audiences • Strong facilitation skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds • Self-motivated with the ability to perform a high level of independence • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively • Fluent in conversational and written English; Spanish or other second language is a plus • Ability to travel the amount of time the role requires, 40 - 50%
