Description

• Lead the Offline Infrastructure Team: Manage and mentor a team of engineers focused on batch data processing and infrastructure. • Develop Scalable Data Pipelines: Oversee the development and implementation of high-performance batch data pipelines and infrastructure. • Collaborate Cross-functionally: Work closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to integrate data insights into business processes. • Drive Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends in data engineering and cloud infrastructure to enhance our data capabilities. • Ensure Data Reliability: Continuously improve the quality, performance, and reliability of data systems. • Project Management: Apply agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality data solutions aligned with organizational priorities. • Strategic Planning: Partner with senior leadership to shape the technical vision and roadmap for offline infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data infrastructure, or technical leadership roles. • Experience managing cross-functional teams, balancing both technical leadership and people management responsibilities. • Proven expertise with distributed batch processing systems (e.g., Apache Spark, Bigquery, Airflow). • Proficiency in Python, Go, or SQL, with experience in optimizing large-scale data systems. • Experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS for building scalable data architectures.
