Description

β€’ The Vice President of Industry Relations is responsible for the overall growth and implementation of newly contracted disease therapies via manufacturer contracts. β€’ Develop and lead strategic and tactical planning to optimize new contractual relationships with manufacturers of rare and orphan biotech therapies. β€’ Directly manage the strategy of the product pipeline while maintaining the relationship and contracts with manufacturers before transitioning the business to program management and trade.

Requirements

β€’ 10+ years of management experience in handling complex customers and contract related negotiations β€’ 8+ years of experience in contract negotiations with payer and/or pharmaceutical manufacturers β€’ 8-10 years of progressively responsible Specialty Pharmacy account management and/or operations experience in managed care industry β€’ 5 years management experience or any combination of education and experience β€’ Thorough understanding of account management principles/tools and pharmacy pricing β€’ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written β€’ Excellent presentation skills β€’ Excellent organizational and planning skills β€’ Preferred undergraduate degree in Business (Marketing, Finance, etc.) β€’ MBA Preferred β€’ Preferred 10+ years of Specialty Pharmacy or Biotech Manufacturer business development experience β€’ Preferred established network of specialty pharmacy consultants and biotech manufacturer relationships
