• Lead program execution of the Exploration Technology Lab’s ocean-related portfolio • Manage Exploration Technology Lab collaborations and project management • Lead development of new technology-based Explorer opportunities • Work with team to create fundraising assets and grant applications • Support Explorer-led data analysis and publication activities • Advocate for transformative potential of marine-related technology
• Bachelor’s degree in a marine science-related field required • 7+ years of experience at the intersection of marine-based conservation technology and/or storytelling • Strong network within academia, conservation groups, and in marine storytelling and technologies • Public speaking and writing reports experience • Advanced knowledge in science and technology integration • Strategy development skills • Leadership and communication skills • Excellent multitasking and interpersonal skills • Understanding of writing funding proposals • Interest in conservation of cultural and natural resources • Experience with underwater robotics and autonomous vehicles preferred • Experience with design and deployment logistics in marine environments preferred
