📋 Description

• Nava is a consultancy and public benefit corporation working to make government services simple, effective, and accessible to all. • The Technical Solutions Architect drives the solution development process during capture and proposal activities for new opportunities and recompetes. • This position works closely with Client Solutions Managers, Proposal Managers, and delivery teams to design innovative, compliant, and competitive solutions for federal, state, and local RFPs, RFQs, and contract vehicles. • The Technical Solutions Architect ensures that Nava’s solutions are aligned with customer needs, government compliance requirements (FedRAMP, FISMA, Section 508), and industry best practices in human-centered design, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. • 6+ years of experience in IT architecture, digital services, or technical solutioning, with at least 3+ years supporting proposals or capture efforts for government contracts (federal, state, or local). • Deep understanding of government procurement processes, including federal/state/local RFPs, RFQs, and contract vehicles (GSA, IDIQs, BPAs). • Strong technical writing skills, with experience developing proposal content that translates complex IT concepts into compelling, compliant narratives. • Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, Section 508, and other government security/compliance frameworks. • Ability to balance compliance, feasibility, and innovation in solution design. • Experience engaging with government stakeholders, proposal teams, and partners/subcontractors to refine technical solutions.
