📋 Description

• This position is primarily responsible for New Flyer’s timely and strategic response to customer procurement requests for the assigned market segment.

🎯 Requirements

• WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Leads cross functional contributors through the review of customer specifications and development of a competitive Bid Strategy that is aligned with the bid evaluation criteria, New Flyer’s customer sales strategy and prudently manages technical and commercial risk to the organization. • Initiates the Bid BOM in Teamcenter for bids and options and manages activities within work cell and functional team to complete all tasks by the required due dates. • Responsible for the timely completion and submittal of proposal documents. • Develops pricing recommendation based on the competitive environment, estimated project costs and company profit expectations. • Ensures that the Bid Strategy is adhered to throughout the pre-production process and/or adjusts Bid Strategy as necessary. • Maintains the sales funnel, customer health dashboard, CRM database and other support documentation, including sales transaction reports. • Leads post mortem review of wins and losses with work cell and Regional Sales Managers. • Develops relationships with the customer procurement teams within the assigned market segment. • Keeps abreast of industry standards, FTA requirements and available bus technology.
