Description

• The Vice President, Human Resources will lead the HR department • Responsible for HR strategies, policies, and programs supporting the organization's mission • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations • Foster equity and inclusion in HR practices and organizational strategy • Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent education and work experience • Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in Human Resources, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization • Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels • Experience in developing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives • Familiarity with HRIS systems and tools • Ability to adapt to changing situations • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams/departments
