• Works with the VP of Sales to create a long-term vision for Walmart, Target, and Sam’s Club • Achieve annual sales volume, market share growth, ROI targets, and profitability goals • Act as the main point of contact with retailers, managing daily business needs and opportunities • Have enthusiasm for networking and building relationships with retailers • Partner and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams • Analyze, learn, and adjust retail strategies based on data • Create a cadence for insights sharing with customers • Manage demand and shipment forecasts, promotional plans, and shopper marketing activities • Own the strategy, tactics, and execution in all JBP programs and events • Present at customer category reviews to sell in closures and innovation • Participate in trade shows, sales, and customer events
• Bachelor’s degree • Minimum of 10+ years in retail sales in the CPG industry • Ideally has been in a sales position in Walmart and Target in last 2 years • Critical to have a solid understanding of multiple distribution methods • Category management mindset and know how to expertly use syndicated data sources • Excellent organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a remote environment • Strong leadership, team-oriented, and influencing skills • Loves using PowerPoint and Excel • Have a thorough understanding of trade math and promotional planning • Problem-solving skills and desire to bring creative solutions to business opportunities • Willing to travel to retailer meetings and industry events
