• Bachelor’s degree in life/health sciences or related discipline, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Master’s Degree preferred. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in market access in the life science industry. • Global and/or regional level experience with ideally local/affiliate access experience in either the US and/or other (high evidence demand/access barrier) markets (e.g. UK, France, Germany, Canada). • Demonstrated understanding of the cardinal strategic inputs and access-related deliverables, decision making (facilitating data-driven go/no-go assessment recommendations) that are required in the different phases in the life cycle of medical technologies, in particular the early payer value-shaping/development phase with – ideally – also a proven track record in successfully shaping the early payer value proposition of assets/projects. • Substantial understanding and knowledge of (access barriers in) the US and key ex-US healthcare ecosystems and the related payer value drivers and resulting access requirements in general and in the field of medical technology in particular; their changing direction, and the positioning of various constituencies within these systems. • Past or present access experience in the field of diabetes or cardiovascular diseases experience and in the payer value elucidation and demonstration of digital/data-driven solutions is strongly preferred.
