• About Us: At OpenProject, we are dedicated to building the leading open-source project management software. • Your Mission: As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers maximize their use of OpenProject. • Customer engagement: Maintain regular contact with existing clients, providing them with training, onboarding, and support. • Upsell and renew plans in a friendly and efficient manner via phone and written communication through our CRM. • Training & consulting: Deliver training and consulting sessions in both German and English, either online or on-site, in close collaboration with our training team. • Product demos: Schedule and conduct demo sessions for potential and existing clients, tailoring them to specific customer requirements. • Proactive outreach: Reach out to customers to ensure timely renewals and promote additional services or user licenses as needed. • Customer satisfaction: Identify and tailor solutions to meet individual customer needs, ensuring timely responses and recommending best practices. • Cross-functional collaboration: Provide valuable feedback to our product, marketing, and sales teams based on customer interactions. • Work closely with all team members to deliver a top-notch experience for both current and potential users. • Documentation: Identify common use cases and document them to assist customers and interested users in making the most out of OpenProject.

Requirements

• Language proficiency: Fluent in both English and German, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages. • Experience: Previous experience in customer success, sales, or training/consulting, ideally within a tech/SaaS company. • CRM expertise: Familiarity with CRM systems and data management tools. • Communication skills: Strong communication skills with a proactive and empathetic approach to customer service. • Passion for Open source: A genuine interest in open source software and its community. • Additional skills: Proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus. • Experience with OpenProject is also advantageous.
