• Responsible for planning and directing marketing and sales activities for assigned area • Design and implement a sales plan for securing business from biotech and pharmaceutical companies • Identify leads, qualify sponsors in oncology and neuroscience fields • Coordinate with Leadership Team to bring in new business • Represent company at trade shows and client-sponsored events • Work with Marketing to implement program supporting sales efforts • Maintain relationships with partner organizations • Update software for metric-driven reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline or an alternate combination of education and experience in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline may be accepted as a substitute • 12 years or more experience in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry, including experience at Director level, with a proven track record in securing and winning new business, or alternative combination of research and CRO experience and demonstrated competencies in the key requirements for the role • Ability to drive and availability for domestic and international travel including overnight stays
