Description

• Responsible for planning and directing marketing and sales activities • Main point of contact for external clients and potential partners • Designing and implementing a sales plan focused on securing new and repeat business • Identifying leads and qualifying targeted sponsors in the fields of oncology, rare disease, neurology, and central nervous system • Coordinating members of the Leadership Team to leverage expertise to bring in new business • Representing the company at trade shows and client-sponsored events • Working closely with Marketing and Leadership Team to implement a Marketing program • Developing and maintaining relationships with partner organizations • Updating Salesforce and providing metrics-driven reporting • Providing regular feedback to the Leadership Team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline or an alternate combination of education and experience in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline may be accepted as a substitute • 12 years or more experience in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry, including experience at Director level, with a proven track record in securing and winning new business, or alternative combination of research and CRO experience and demonstrated competencies in the key requirements for the role • Ability to drive and availability for domestic and international travel including overnight stays
