• As a Shipping 360 Platform Sales Specialist, you are a relationship-oriented individual who will provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level subject matter expert working within the sales environment, supporting and driving Pitney Bowes ' leading carrier solutions portfolio. • You are collaborative and will work with the sales team within established geography, acting as the “quarterback” to generate new business and ensure the growth of existing accounts by providing full sales cycle support: assisting with channel management, determine client needs, provide pre-sales technical support, architect and demonstrate the solution, assist in proposal creation, provide support in closing the opportunity, account planning, and account development. • You will be responsible for engaging our Clients and Sales teams across the parcel lifecycle and shipping ecosystem, providing expertise in shipping and locker-specific product solutions. • Collaborate with the Account Owner and cross-functional supporting roles for strategic account planning activities. • Engage with the sales team to prioritize opportunity targets within Enterprise Accounts. • Lead engagements with some of our most valued Clients who have highly complex Enterprise Shipping and Receiving operations. • Identify opportunities for additional product sales. • Work hands-on with prospects and clients to demonstrate and communicate the value of solutions through the sales cycle from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation. • Engage effectively with multiple buyer personas (C-Suite, IT, Student Experience, etc.) within accounts. • Assist with sales play selection & solutions for targeted clients to drive expansion revenue. • Travel to conduct in-person meetings with clients on-site.
• Shipping and Carrier Market product knowledge with a proven practice of product specific sales strategies • Strategic Account Planning experience • Shipping workflow analysis and audit – expertise in reviewing processes and spend to make recommendations for increased productivity • Collaborative Selling and ability to lead opportunity teams • Effective engagement experience with multiple buyer personas (C-Suite, Executive IT, Multi-Stakeholders) • Sales methodology and Process experience • Proven success selling in a competitive market
