Description

• Collaborate with Privacy & Regulatory Counsel on privacy and regulatory matters. • Partner with Product Counsel to advise on privacy issues and develop solutions. • Horizon-scan privacy and regulatory ecosystem, keeping Legal updated. • Develop privacy policies and trainings for compliance with protection laws. • Serve as contact for privacy questions in contract negotiations and marketing content.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer with substantial privacy and regulatory experience. • Proactive team-player valuing solutions-oriented communication and collaborative problem-solving. • Excellent issue-spotter with strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Deep knowledge of US financial data privacy laws (e.g., GLBA) and state privacy laws (e.g., CCPA). • Working knowledge of regulations applicable to financial services (e.g., FCRA, Dodd-Frank Act). • Experience advising on AI, fairness, and related laws preferred.
