📋 Description
• Sales Engineering unlocks and empowers prospects’ full potential on the Plaid Network. • We bring product expertise and drive Revenue outcomes by being customer-obsessed technical advisors in the pre-sales process. • You’ll work closely with our Fintech Sales team as the technical lead during the pre-sales process. • You will be responsible for partnering with Account Executives, proactively pushing deals forward by overcoming technical objections and building solutions around Plaid products. • You will ensure a successful transition to the post-sale stage of the customer lifecycle and partner with account teams to drive adoption of new products by existing customers. • You will be expected to have significant knowledge of the Fintech ecosystem and a deep understanding of how customers can best utilize Plaid.
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years of customer facing experience selling to large enterprises • A strong sense of customer empathy and experience that combines business experience, sales skills and technical acumen • Strong communications skills with a confident and proactive approach to customer communication • Ability to quickly understand new technologies and complex concepts • Knowledge of web services, APIs, and related standards such as HTTP and REST. • Knowledge of mobile and web application architecture specific to interfacing with API platforms • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time • Nice to have: Payments, Fraud and/or Credit experience
