📋 Description

• Looking for an experienced health economics and outcomes research leader. • Lead teams conducting client studies in pharmacy and biotech. • Responsible for growth and development of HEOR services and talent. • Create new business and cultivate key client relationships. • Manage communications to support departmental goals.

🎯 Requirements

• 10-12+ years of experience, at least four in a consulting environment • Postgraduate degree - PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred; Master’s degree in a subject related to health services research e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health, with relevant experiences considered. • Proven record of leadership experience in high-impact HEOR publications, business development, consulting, and/or leadership, including a proven track record of success. • Broad technical knowledge of outcomes research and health economics, as well as knowledge of the changing payer/Health Technology Assessment (HTA) landscape in the US and globally. • Successful review of data outputs, interpret results, and develop/deliver publications and/or presentations • Experience with development of pharmacoeconomic models, with specific understanding of value demonstration modeling, including but not limited to: • Demonstrates expert understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs, and requirements for health technology assessment, evidenced by a track record of relevant publications • Sufficient understanding of relevant methods to be able to oversee studies involving model development/validation (budget impact, cost effectiveness, cost consequence, other), and utility modelling/mapping (trial-based analyses) • Clearly explains the rationale, methods/results, and strategy for studies to project teams, clients, and external stakeholders • Understands strengths and limitations of alternative approaches and proposes applications/solutions of new or existing methods tailored to a specific research question • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and payer evidence requirements • Strong strategic and technical writing skills • Successful history meeting deadlines while working on multiple parallel projects
