• Position: National Sales Manager (Metal Processing Segment) • Background • Red Sky Lighting is an international manufacturer and solution provider of hazardous and harsh environment LED lighting with headquarters in the United States. • With rapid business growth, the company is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead the metal processing segment, focusing on market penetration and business development. • The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving growth through market expansion, achieving sales goals, negotiating and closing contracts with large customers, and working closely with marketing and development teams.
• Develop and execute strategies for market penetration and drive sales objectives to achieve commercial targets. • Identify and acquire new customers, as well as drive expansion within the existing customer base through up-selling and cross-selling. • Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts and close strategic opportunities to grow the customer base. • Conduct thorough market analysis and identify areas for growth and expansion, focusing on penetrating new and existing markets. • Ensure accurate sales forecasting and account planning to drive sustainable growth. • Build a high-performing sales team by providing strong mentorship, coaching, and guidance, ensuring alignment with market penetration goals. • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing and product development, to ensure a cohesive strategy for market entry and product delivery. • Track and analyze competitors’ activities and industry trends to refine strategies for increasing market share. • Demonstrated expertise in sales strategies, with specific experience in market penetration within the metal processing industry or other relevant metal processing industries. • Proven success in a similar role with experience in driving market growth and increasing market share in the metal processing segments. • Strong knowledge of CRM practices, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities to support sales efforts and growth initiatives. • Ability to foster strong relationships across all levels of an organization and collaborate effectively to support market penetration. • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to articulate strategies and results to stakeholders inside and outside the organization. • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, marketing, or business administration. • 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on the metal processing industry especially on steel mills.
