Description

• The Sales Manager is responsible for driving group room nights and catering revenue for Rio Las Vegas. • This position will be remote based in a regional market and manage a defined market, soliciting and closing business through multiple business development strategies. • Responsibilities include maintaining exceptional customer service, managing customer relationships, soliciting new group business, meeting revenue goals, and generating contracts. • This position works directly with the Sales team but does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of progressive hospitality sales experience; Hyatt sales and remote work experience strongly preferred. • Long-term relationship management. • Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as business strategies and levels demand; includes consistent travel to Las Vegas. • Home office setup free of distraction during business hours. • Strong organizational skills, solution-driven, analytical thinker. • Strong drive towards personal accountability and self-motivation. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. • Excellent written and oral communication skills which include being able to comfortably sell new ideas/strategies at all levels of the organization. • Proactive with an attention to details. • Able to set priorities, work schedules, and meet department deadlines. • High School Diploma or GED (required) • At least 21 years of age. • Proficient in Envision strongly preferred; Delphi or similar group sales CRM system required.
