β€’ The Sales Manager is responsible for driving group room nights and catering revenue for Rio Las Vegas. β€’ This position will be remote based in a regional market and manage a defined market, soliciting and closing business through multiple business development strategies. β€’ Responsibilities include maintaining exceptional customer service, managing customer relationships, soliciting new group business, meeting revenue goals, and generating contracts. β€’ This position works directly with the Sales team but does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

β€’ Minimum five years of progressive hospitality sales experience; Hyatt sales and remote work experience strongly preferred. β€’ Long-term relationship management. β€’ Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as business strategies and levels demand; includes consistent travel to Las Vegas. β€’ Home office setup free of distraction during business hours. β€’ Strong organizational skills, solution-driven, analytical thinker. β€’ Strong drive towards personal accountability and self-motivation. β€’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. β€’ Excellent written and oral communication skills which include being able to comfortably sell new ideas/strategies at all levels of the organization. β€’ Proactive with an attention to details. β€’ Able to set priorities, work schedules, and meet department deadlines. β€’ High School Diploma or GED (required) β€’ At least 21 years of age. β€’ Proficient in Envision strongly preferred; Delphi or similar group sales CRM system required.
