• Supervising the coordination and strategic alignment of numerous projects to meet organizational objectives. • Developing and continuously improving program management capabilities. • Offering strategic leadership and supervision for a collection of programs. • Overseeing and coordinating program execution to ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Establishing program management methodologies and educating stakeholders. • Promoting the adoption of agile principles and practices. • Understanding the transition from waterfall to agile methodologies. • Formulating and executing program plans with stakeholders. • Providing leadership to cross-functional teams. • Identifying priorities and tracking progress. • Establishing communication plans and serving as the primary contact for program-related communication. • Ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field • 8+ years of related experience • Program management and / or agile certification preferred • Familiar with insurance operations or prior consulting experience is preferred [OR] equivalent level of education and experience • Prior experience supervising a variety of programs preferred • Expert knowledge Waterfall and Agile project methodologies • Ability to prioritize duties and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Understanding of insurance company operations and how to accomplish project objectives within this environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts • Ability to communicate roles and expectations with all project team members • Understanding of technology and/or cloud environments • Ability to apply a strategic perspective to improve project delivery • Ability to guide conflict and drive resolution
