β’ Define, articulate, and execute the vision, strategy, roadmap, and planning for database augmentation, data maintenance/QA, and advanced analytics capabilities across all Roadpass Digital business channels. β’ Engage with senior business leaders internally and externally to understand business priorities and key value initiatives, identify and educate on where and how data analytics can provide the best insights and add the most value. β’ Guide business partners on the interpretation, implications, and use of data analytics results. Prepare and deliver presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement. β’ Design and implement organizational processes, structures, and systems for scaling data analytics capabilities across the enterprise. β’ Lead a team, including 1:1 discussions, goal setting, team motivation, performance management, recruitment, and retention. This role requires a leader who can be both a player and a coach. β’ Inspire and grow a team of distributed data analysts and data scientists. Establish a culture of innovation, agility, continuous improvement, and openness. β’ Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data in developing data-informed strategies for growing and improving our product offerings. β’ Bring a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and build/review BI dashboards (looker), stakeholder tools, and statistical models to support informed decision-making. β’ Keep abreast of industry, market, and company trends and partner with business leaders to champion the adoption of new data, analytic approaches, techniques, and capabilities. β’ Evaluate, vet, and recommend third-party vendors as needed. β’ 8+ years of overall hands-on experience in Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics. β’ Previous experience leading a team of Data Analysts and Data Scientists. β’ Proven track record leading the development and delivery of advanced, actionable Data Analytics, Machine Learning / AI products and services, including creating predictive models that serve as the foundation for new product offerings. β’ Experience partnering with a product organization to foster ideation and tracking of performance metrics for new product and feature launches. β’ Proficient in one or more programming languages, e.g., Python, R, Java, C++, etc. β’ Strong leadership and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to summarize key findings into actionable recommendations and interact with individuals at all levels. β’ Advanced proficiency in writing SQL, including performing time-series analysis, aggregate analysis over large complex datasets, multi-table joins, query optimization, etc. β’ Deep familiarity with implementing and rolling out business intelligence tools to high-growth and dynamic organizations (e.g., Looker). β’ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced remote working environment. β’ Strong project management skills and ability to plan and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. β’ Ability to quickly understand new technologies and data environments.
