Description

• Supports Ryder Continuous Improvement culture by applying methodologies to operations • Identifies and implements change through data-driven CI, Engineering, and Automation efforts • Collects data and performs statistical analysis • Recommends and implements process improvement • Develops and executes continuous improvement plans • Manages CI projects for improved business results • Supports Automation projects while interacting with operations management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain and 3 years of related work experience; or Master’s degree and 1 year experience • Microsoft Office Suite skills with emphasis on Access, Excel, and PowerPoint & Visio advanced required • Knowledgeable of data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and database programming (SQL, DAX) intermediate preferred • Basic knowledge of Lean/TPS core tools/processes (e.g. 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management) beginner required • Understanding and experience in core engineering and data analysis functions (slotting, utilization, labor planning) beginner required • Warehouse design tools such as CAD (AutoCAD); slotting (Slot3D) beginner preferred • Knowledge of material handling solutions and automation types such as powered industrial truck applications; racking and other storage solutions intermediate preferred
