Description

• Lead the engineering team during the development and implementation of software solutions, ensuring high-quality code and alignment with the company's strategic goals. • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager (the CEO for now) to define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring optimal alignment of technology with business objectives. • Make pivotal decisions regarding the selection, development, and deployment of technological tools and frameworks. • Manage sprint planning, allocation, implementation, and retrospective analysis to optimize team workflows and productivity. • Oversee the architectural integrity and maintain the high scalability and reliability of our systems. • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the team to stay ahead of industry trends and explore new technologies that could enhance our product offerings. • Develop and manage the department’s budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize innovation and productivity. • Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and testing procedures. • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet their goals. • Serve as a technical and business advisor to other departments, helping them understand and implement technology solutions in line with their objectives.

Requirements

• Experience as an Engineering Manager or Head of Engineering or similar leadership role in a technology-driven organization. Outstanding people skills and willingness to sharpen your leadership skills even without similar titles can be an option too. • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. • Familiarity with our Tech stack: PHP, vue.js, Github, AWS, Kubernetes, Cloudflare, MySQL • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional tech teams. • Familiarity with modern programming languages, tech stacks, and software development best practices. • Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle management. • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
