Description

• Responsible for identifying, managing, and executing partnership opportunities within a named set of Retail accounts. • Plan and execute formal activities with the Retailer, including discovery sessions, proposals, presentations, brand advocacy outreach programs, and licensing negotiations. • Identify key influencers and stakeholders, establish new relationships with target connections, and nurture existing relationships with the goal of expanding partnership agreements. • Manage Executive relationships within the assigned account base to ensure business value is identified and delivered against the Retailers KPIs and business objectives. • Influence and execute an account success plan that is managed jointly across the account stakeholders and internal stakeholders. • Maintain a strong understanding of customer-centric selling, and all associated tools (sales process, sequence of events, etc.) and actively implement them in opportunities. • This role closely partners with sales engineering, retail success, services & operations, and renewal managers to create and close opportunities. • Keep up to date with industry trends and competitive landscape to provide thought leadership for named accounts, educating them on best practices to grow their business.

Requirements

• 2-5 years experience in client-facing, consultative selling positions in fast-paced companies. High tech is preferred, though competitive suppliers or agencies are also valuable. • Experience managing large-scale evaluations that involve multiple departmental stakeholders. • This role requires a blend of sales, customer relationship management, and consulting skills. • Comfortable with ambiguity; a willingness to be proactive and resourceful in an effort to identify challenges, surface opportunities and collaborate on solutions. • A “people person”: you are enthusiastic and energized by spending your day interacting with many different people. • High Emotional Intelligence and the ability to communicate effectively with many different types of people. • Experience in sales, client success, consulting, business development, or solutions engineering. • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication. • Driven, ambitious, and optimistic. Approaches their responsibilities with a solution-oriented mindset. • Creative and entrepreneurial in your approach to your work. • Highly organized. Experience executing on defined project plans, including tracking statuses, providing feedback and driving the necessary steps to completion. • Curiosity to learn about new businesses and industries, and you can quickly grasp and make effective use of industry- and company-specific terminology.
