Description

β€’ The Manager, Regional Sales (RM) leads a team of Territory Managers (TM) to perform at their highest-level assuring success for each TM, SanMar and the region. β€’ They identify key areas for growth, development and opportunity for TMs, their accounts and the region. β€’ Working with their TMs, they will develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales volume, SanMar market share and SanMar's value to customers.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience β€’ 4-6 years of outside sales experience, apparel industry strongly preferred β€’ 1-3 years of sales leadership experience is preferred β€’ Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance, good driving record required β€’ Ability to travel 2-3 weeks per month β€’ Vehicle that is reliable and can hold: Racks that hold up to 100 samples wrinkle free Trade show booth 2-3 cases of catalogs 2-3 cases of other misc. marketing brochures Travel 25K miles per year β€’ Ability to cover expenses including travel, business entertainment, business expenses for 4-6 full weeks at a time β€’ Ability to travel including drive, all types of planes (including prop planes), trains, subways, etc. β€’ May be required to travel in adverse weather conditions β€’ Ability to build meaningful partnerships and communicate effectively with customers, sales team and internal departments to identify and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner β€’ Experience in examining, analyzing, developing and executing a strategic business plan with high level decision makers β€’ Ability to recognize emerging business trends and determine viability of opportunities β€’ Ability to solve problems and work with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists β€’ Ability to interpret a variety of communications furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form β€’ Work well under deadline pressures in a fast pace environment, efficiently handling multiple tasks at once β€’ A high degree of professionalism, integrity, objectivity, and service orientation β€’ Must be a leader; a positive model and an enthusiastic, energetic and sales focused individual β€’ Highly motivated self-starter; has the ability to accomplish results without direct supervision β€’ Easily conveys information and concepts in a "user friendly" manner to different skill levels and personalities β€’ Exceptional organization, planning and time-management skills
