Description

• Scholar Rock is a biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, and delivers life-changing therapies for people with serious diseases that have high unmet need. • The Senior Director/Director, Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research (GHEOR) will report to the VP, Global Medical Affairs, and be part of the Medical Affairs team. • Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the global HEOR research plan to support global market access, reimbursement and scientific communication of HEOR data, dossiers, and tools. • The successful candidate will lead global HEOR evidence generation activities and serve as a subject matter expert for HEOR strategies and research.

Requirements

• MD, PhD in life sciences, PharmD, or Masters-level degree in an HEOR related field. • 5-7 years’ experience (MD, PhD, PharmD) or 10+ years’ experience (master’s degree) in HEOR roles within pharmaceutical industry and/or life science consultancy or relevant experience with a documented track record for success. • Technical experience required includes expertise in the design and conduct of HEOR evidence synthesis projects, with excellent knowledge of pairwise and network meta-analysis, population adjusted indirect comparisons, clinical outcomes assessments (COAs), patient reported outcomes (PROs) and comparative effectiveness research. • Experience and ability to design and manage HEOR projects (RWE, models, dossiers, etc.) that fulfill the requirements for relevant HTA regulatory submissions (e.g., NICE). • Strong track record of delivering results with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills • Capable of managing shifting priorities in a rapidly changing and environment • Prior experience working in the neurology and/or rare diseases and understanding market trends for rare diseases is preferred but not required. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~15%)
