• Identify and target potential clients, including distributors, retailers, and other relevant businesses, to promote and sell SecondShop’s products. • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new accounts and expand the company’s presence in the secondary market. • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, moving opportunities from initial contact to successful partnership agreements. • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial deals that support long-term growth for both SecondShop and new partners. • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify market opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. • Maintain a deep understanding of SecondShop’s evolving product offerings, ensuring the ability to effectively present, explain, and promote products to future partners.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and B2B account management. • Experience working with wholesale clients in a product-driven environment, ideally in liquidation for retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods. • Existing relationships with key buyers in relevant markets and industries is preferred. • Knowledge of the U.S and international market, including regulations, sales strategies, and key distribution channels. • Experience in selling to clients in the United States and understanding the nuances of cross-border sales is a plus. • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with partners and close deals effectively. • Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and meet/exceed sales targets and KPIs. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and effectively present SecondShop’s value proposition to potential partners.
