• Create and implement a strategic sales plan for federal government agencies • Identify target agencies and key opportunities to drive business growth • Work with Federal focused VARs, distributors, and SIs to develop relationships • Stay informed about market trends and federal procurement policies • Oversee preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and RFP responses • Meet and exceed federal sales revenue targets • Implement effective sales processes and tools for monitoring performance • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams
• 10+ years minimum experience in federal sales into DOD and Intelligence sectors • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the federal sector • Strong sales methodology and forecasting skills (MEDDPICC, etc) • Deep understanding of federal procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior government officials and key stakeholders • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
