• Sensei Ag is looking for a talented Director of Global Environmental Health and Safety to join their team. • This person will lead the way in creating a global strategy that prioritizes the well-being of employees and the environment. • Their main focus will be on building a strong safety culture that uses data to guide decision-making and minimize risks. • You will have the opportunity to build and define the EH&S strategy for a growing company. • Open and inquisitive department culture.

Requirements

• Ten (10) years in EH&S roles with progressive leadership responsibilities, preferably within the greenhouse, agriculture, or related industries. • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team. • Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic plans. • Demonstrated expertise and application of relevant regulations, codes, and legislative requirements: • Demonstrated expertise and application of ISO standards (or related programs). • Expert Knowledge of Safety Chain or related document control software. • Ability to build, work, and maintain relationships across the organization.
