📋 Description
• This is a remote position. • Reporting to: Managing Director, Social Innovation Canada. • Location: Any location within Canada, ability to work remotely, travel required. • Oversee the launch and execution of the Canadian Housing Affordability Partnership (CHAP) initiative. • Lead the development and piloting of the TOAH Fund in Hamilton. • Engage with policymakers at municipal, provincial, and federal levels. • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key local stakeholders including community housing developers and providers.
🎯 Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in housing policy, social finance, urban planning, impact investing, or a related field. • Deep understanding of affordable housing development, financing structures, and transit-oriented development models. • Proven track record in building and managing multi-stakeholder partnerships. • Experience in fund design, impact investing, or social finance models is highly desirable. • Policy advocacy experience and familiarity with the Canadian housing policy landscape. • Exceptional project management and leadership skills, with an ability to execute complex initiatives from concept to implementation. • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement abilities. • Passion for social innovation and systems change approaches to housing affordability.
