• Entrepreneurial Role: Manage a book of business with up to one billion dollars in revenue, making a significant impact in the packaging industry. • Mentor and Inspire: Manage a team of Account Managers servicing some of the world's largest food companies. • Provide direction to drive performance and achieve sales goals. • Contract Development and Negotiation: Work closely with key accounts to develop and finalize contracts, coordinating with Silgan Executive Management and Legal Counsel. • Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, providing comprehensive recommendations for pricing, terms, and specifications. • Create Market Reports: Research and interpret current market conditions, industry pricing, and regional capabilities. • Build Strategic Relationships: Work with senior management to develop and implement operating plans that align with the business, ensuring maximum sales and profit growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Packaging. • 10 or more years of progressive sales experience in packaging, manufacturing, or food and beverage industries. • Proven ability to drive results and exceed targets. • Strong organizational skills and the capacity to think strategically while simultaneously addressing roadblocks. • Willingness to travel up to 50%. • The ability to thrive both as a contributor and a team player in a fast-paced environment.
