📋 Description

• SoFi is seeking an Accounting Manager with strong technical accounting experience and valuation experience • Support our growing business and be a key leader by providing technical accounting and valuation-related support • This position will report to the Director of Financial Reporting & Policy • Provide timely guidance and documentation in supporting our business partners • Develop, maintain and update accounting policies • Serve as external audit liaison and contact for year-end annual audit • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business decision-making through insightful analysis

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or a combination of public and industry • Financial services and/or software & technology experience preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent; or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) • Big 4 accounting or large regional firm experience preferred • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations • Experience/familiarity with valuation of financial instruments • Excellent problem-solving skills • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in MS Excel and excellent writing skills • Attention to detail, analytical abilities, and consistent follow-through • Strong collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally • Ability to influence stakeholders through subject matter expertise
