• The Senior Key account manager will manage existing accounts to ensure account security and retention by implementing professional account management processes. • Responsible for growing applications and profitability with existing accounts and supporting value improvement projects. • Manage pricing and budgets. • Monthly reporting. • Conduct regular customer reviews. • Initiate and conduct return on investment projects. • Implement customer management and service planning. • Day to day management of support engineers and service technicians and contractors. • Conducting performance reviews and managing any performance issues. • Managing profitability. • Manage return on investment projects. • Implement department strategic plan in district. • Develop and manage sales pipeline. • Grow business with existing customers. • Chemical transfers, boiler and cooling tower water sampling and testing. • Replacement of tubes, injection valves and pumps. • Routine service duties and equipment repairs and maintenance. • Conduct continuous improvement projects.
• Previous experience in a sales or service and account management role – preferred. • A degree in chemistry / science or over 10 years’ experience in the water treatment and chemical industry. • Demonstrates safe work practices and able to identify hazards. • High problem-solving abilities. • High level of communication skills in both verbal and written. • Customer focused and results driven individual. • Able to prioritize and manage a high workload with minimal supervision. • Experience with boilers, cooling towers and mining. • Able to travel for work when required – will be by exception. • Ability to be flexible. • Current and valid Australian driver’s license – essential • High computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
