• The Vice President of Sales is a pivotal leader responsible for driving revenue growth across both the employer and health plan payer markets. • This role requires a combination of strategic oversight and hands-on execution, as the VP of Sales will be directly involved in selling, pitching, and closing deals while also guiding the sales team. • The VP will develop and implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, cultivate key client relationships, and analyze market trends to optimize sales performance. • This player-coach role is integral to the company’s ongoing growth and success.
• BA/BS required; MBA preferred. • 10-15+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. • Proven success in selling to both large employer groups and health plan payers. • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue and consistently meet sales targets. • Experience functioning as a player-coach, actively involved in sales and deal closure. • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, and deal closing. • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and make strategic decisions. • Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales tools and technologies. • Startup experience is a plus.
