Description

• Soluna Cloud is looking for a Technical Support Engineer dedicated to helping customers implement AI solutions and realize transformational business opportunities. • You should love AI and love applying it to solve customers’ real-world needs. You should be relentless in providing incredible support to our customers. • You will own, troubleshoot and solve customer technical issues, from cluster sizing to software deployments. You will be involved with the entire customer lifecycle. You will be able to design and run experiments, research new algorithms, and find new ways of optimizing risk, profitability, and while elevating customer experience. • The Soluna Cloud team will work directly with customers and innovate in a fast-paced organization that contributes to game-changing projects and technologies. • This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth by honing your problem-solving, collaboration and research skills while you continue to master your technical proficiency. • You will: - Support the Soluna Cloud team during sales motions to specify initial clusters and onboard new customers. - Review, investigate and solve customer technical issues, collaborating within and across teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices - Develop specific technical and professional proficiency to enable you to understand and resolve customer issues, through training and readiness - Identify potential product defects and provide feedback to engineering & product to help improve Soluna offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field OR 5+ years of equivalent experience • 3+ years of technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience • Experience deploying AI Models and Data Sets on NVIDIA GPU Clusters • Experience with Docker and Container architecture, as well as core Linux Operating System knowledge • Fluency in Kubernetes orchestration software with deep knowledge in how it operates, how to troubleshoot, and what it accomplishes. • Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) components such as Virtual Machines, Networking, and Storage. • Expertise in managing cluster environment (SUSE, RedHat, Veritas) • Experience interfacing with S3 Storage • Familiarity with core OS services such as: SSH, telnet, FTP, NFS, DNS, DHCP, Samba, LDAP • Experience with Infiniband Networking • Understanding of the OSI model and related concepts • Must have excellent written and verbal/presentation communication skills • Ability to work well with a distributed team • Must have outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills; attention to details • Strong communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to convey rigorous mathematical concepts and considerations to non-experts
