Description
• Developing and implementing H&S policies, standards and programs aligned with Global EHS Excellence System & Strategy • Assisting regional managers with managing serious injury & fatality prevention initiatives • Managing the SIF and Potential SIF learning review process • Leading the company’s human and organizational performance (HOP) and behavioral safety initiatives • Partnering with the Director of Environmental and Process Safety to develop a robust EHS compliance process
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND ten (10) years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, Safety Sciences, Engineering or a related field in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED AND sixteen (16) years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, Safety Sciences, Engineering or a related field in a private, public, government or military environment • 5 years of EH&S management experience which includes supporting multiple locations and at least 5 years in a leadership role. • Experience with developing and implementing serious injury & fatality prevention initiatives, EH&S Management Systems, e.g., ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 and implementing “new view” S&H programs such as Human & Organizational Performance.
