β’ Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Taxonomy and Ontology Management Systems (TOMS) β’ Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to create sales enablement materials β’ Identify potential market segments and customers through research and networking β’ Lead conversations with clients to understand their specific challenges β’ Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure β’ Coordinate with technical teams to design proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilot programs β’ Provide feedback to product teams based on customer needs
β’ In-depth knowledge of controlled vocabulary standards and best practices (ANSI-NISO Z39.19, ISO 25964, etc.) β’ In-depth knowledge of semantic web standards (RDF, SKOS, OWL, SPARQL, etc.) β’ Familiarity with human and-or machine classification β’ Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) β’ Familiarity with graph databases, specifically including RDF graph databases β’ Proven track record in enterprise sales, preferably within the AI, data, or technology sectors β’ Experience driving sales for technical products, including managing complex, consultative sales cycles from prospecting to closing β’ Strong negotiation skills with the ability to structure deals that align with both customer needs and company goals β’ Experience working with enterprise clients, particularly in industries like finance, healthcare, or telecommunications β’ Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills β’ Strong collaboration skills
