Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Taxonomy and Ontology Management Systems (TOMS) • Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to create sales enablement materials • Identify potential market segments and customers through research and networking • Lead conversations with clients to understand their specific challenges • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure • Coordinate with technical teams to design proof-of-concepts (POCs)

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of controlled vocabulary standards and best practices (ANSI-NISO Z39.19, ISO 25964, etc.) • In-depth knowledge of semantic web standards (RDF, SKOS, OWL, SPARQL, etc.) • Familiarity with human and/or machine classification • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) • Familiarity with graph databases, specifically including RDF graph databases • Proven track record in enterprise sales, preferably within the AI, data, or technology sectors • Experience driving sales for technical products, including managing complex, consultative sales cycles from prospecting to closing • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to structure deals that align with both customer needs and company goals • Experience working with enterprise clients, particularly in industries like finance, healthcare, or telecommunications • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong collaboration skills
