β’ Source and close new business to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas β’ Build a strong understanding of the SimpliGov platform and its use cases, and their place in the industry β’ Manage the full sales cycle: prospect for new customers, host discovery calls and demos, create proposals, and close deals β’ Aggressively prospect through email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach β’ Work closely with the business development team to bolster outreach in territory β’ Track customer information, forecasts, and reports using Salesforce β’ Build and maintain prospect and customer list using strategic marketing data and other sources for sales leads β’ Participate in industry events in territory
β’ At least 2-3 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity β’ SaaS and GovTech experience a plus β’ Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, nurture relationships, and strong presentation skills β’ Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment β’ Self-starting and self-motivated β’ Possess a hunter-sales mentality with a strong desire to be successful β’ Experience with Salesforce β’ Willingness to travel into territory 25% of the time
