β€’ Source and close new business to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas β€’ Build a strong understanding of the SimpliGov platform and its use cases, and their place in the industry β€’ Manage the full sales cycle: prospect for new customers, host discovery calls and demos, create proposals, and close deals β€’ Aggressively prospect through email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach β€’ Work closely with the business development team to bolster outreach in territory β€’ Track customer information, forecasts, and reports using Salesforce β€’ Build and maintain prospect and customer list using strategic marketing data and other sources for sales leads β€’ Participate in industry events in territory

Requirements

β€’ At least 2-3 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity β€’ SaaS and GovTech experience a plus β€’ Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, nurture relationships, and strong presentation skills β€’ Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment β€’ Self-starting and self-motivated β€’ Possess a hunter-sales mentality with a strong desire to be successful β€’ Experience with Salesforce β€’ Willingness to travel into territory 25% of the time
