Description

• Manage, grow, and develop a sales territory with distribution customers • Demonstrate the value of Stanley Black & Decker’s product portfolio • Identify end-user applications for cost-effective recommendations • Support customers with ongoing sales service • Manage administrative aspects and timely reporting for territory management • Keep distributors motivated about products • Solve end-user problems through troubleshooting and calibration of equipment • This position involves approximately 20% travel within territory.

Requirements

• Bachelors/associate degree in a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent trade experience in a shop environment • 2+ Years of direct sales experience in industrial sales is strongly preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required • Technical and mechanical ability to work with tools and machines • Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred • Demonstrated time management skills, ability to set priorities is required • Knowledge of hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is preferable • Must be able to develop and present programs to both customers and sales organization • Fluent in Spanish is a plus
