Description

• The role of the Staples HR Business Consultant (HRBC) is to perform advanced, specialized duties in designated human resource programs or section areas. • Act as internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues. • Align human resource priorities with US Stores and manage the delivery of HR policies. • Execute business specific projects, and initiatives relating to people. • Demonstrate leadership in human resources decisions, procedures and programs.

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Organizational Psychology, Business or related discipline • PHR /SPHR certification preferred • A minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a strategic Human Resources function, which includes supporting multiple levels of management in a fast-paced work environment • Experience working in large corporate organization with a matrix structure • Complex Problem Solving Skills • Business Acumen and strong analytical skills • Strong Consulting and Project Management Skills • Talent Management and Development • Change Management • High-energy and confident team player who can easily collaborate cross functionally with the different levels of Management and HR COEs • Strong bias for action and a keen sense of urgency with limited guidance and superior results
