• For 25 years, Stream Data Centers has been a trusted partner in providing world-class data center solutions. • Stream Data Centers continues to set new standards for innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability in the data center industry. • The Solutions Architecture team provides innovative infrastructure solutions that support our customers’ infrastructure and operational requirements. • The Director of Solutions Architecture is responsible for proposing effective data center solutions for prospective projects and supporting the delivery of new capacity. • A successful candidate will have experience across the broad range of systems and processes that support critical and high availability data center environments. • Develop thorough and innovative technical responses to customer inquiries for future data center capacity. • Listen and collaborate with partners, effectively communicating customers' current and future requirements. • Solve complex problems to optimize the availability, efficiency, delivery, and operation of future capacity solutions. • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and support project management functions as needed. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet customer expectations and industry standards. • Create and maintain documentation for proposed solutions, ensuring clarity and alignment with customer and organizational goals. • Act as a subject matter expert for technical queries and escalations related to data center solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • 5+ years of experience in data center engineering, construction, or operations. • 3+ years of customer-facing experience managing projects or technical solutioning. • Proven record of delivering excellent internal and external customer service. • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. • Proficiency in MEP systems, BAS networks, architectural space programming, data center operations, capacity planning, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office. • 7+ years of experience in data center engineering, construction, or operations (preferred). • Advanced degree in engineering, business, or a related field (preferred). • Experience with hyperscale customer environments and infrastructure (preferred). • Strong knowledge of CFD software and its application to data center design (preferred). • Demonstrated ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions for finance, product, and construction teams (preferred). • Familiarity with emerging technologies and innovations in data center infrastructure and operations (preferred).
