📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of schools’ network infrastructure, (servers, switches, firewalls, storage, etc.) to ensure devices remain current, supported, and performing to meet the demands of the schools. • Manage vendor relationships for outsourced systems and services, e.g., security, remote backups, VOIP phone services, internet service providers, etc.; • Perform software and hardware installation for onsite corporate employees and local school staff; • Maintain asset control for all school and corporate assets in the field, including managing lifecycle replacements of all IT assets, including destruction and ensuring all proper documents are included; • Use the centralized inventory management system, responsible for maintaining an up-to-date, auditable inventory of all technology assets for the school locations this role is assigned to manage • Partner with school management and finance to establish annual budgets and control technology costs; • Complete all tickets escalated from the Stride Service Desk; • Deliver new hire and professional development technology training to teachers and school staff; • Provide 24/7/365 on-call support when environment/presenting issue warrants such as server and laptop issues, etc.; • Perform troubleshooting and problem analysis for the purpose of diagnosing, repairing and/or replacing equipment; • Report and escalate system issues to the Manager, Regional Technology as appropriate; • Proactively identify recurring technology issues for further address by management; • Be onsite if required or requested to support onsite staff at school or various schools.

🎯 Requirements

• Three (3) years of relevant experience • Understanding and proficiency in computer networking • Knowledge of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time to conduct school year start technology training for end users, and to perform on-site school office visits (minimum quarterly visits) • Intermediate, practical ability to support end user use of business productivity tools such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.) • Intermediate proficiency in ability to support website navigation in general (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.) • Ability to clear background check
