• We’re looking for an engineering leader to build the team and drive the technical vision for managing credit risk – particularly tail risks. • You’ll build a team of backend and full stack engineers focused on balancing user experience with Stripe’s risk management needs.
• You have 10+ years of professional experience, and at least 3 years of engineering management experience, with a track record of leading high performing engineering teams • You have been responsible for delivering great products that work end-to-end and have managed both full stack and backend engineers • You enjoy working closely with customers • You work very well cross-functionally and are comfortable making hard decisions and trade-offs • You have a strong technical sense and think rigorously about architecture and product decisions • You thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility • You have successfully recruited great people to your team • You enjoy developing and mentoring engineers and engineering leaders
