📋 Description

• The Vice President of Sales will perform two very important duties: 1. Be the main point of contact for our current & largest Strategic Accounts with the goal of selling SubjectWell solutions and services and expanding our current business with these strategic accounts. 2. Lead, coach, mentor, and support a team of sales representatives who are responsible for generating new/repeat business primarily with small to medium customers and some large strategic accounts. • This role will be responsible for leading business-wide strategic initiatives by creating and developing relationships, educating prospects and current clients on SubjectWell’s solutions, services, and value, and promoting SubjectWell as the choice patient recruitment partner. • This role will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and will have direct reports. Additionally, this position will require travel up to 50% of the time or as needed. • Own and be the main point of contact with SubjectWell’s current Strategic Accounts with the goal of selling our solutions and services to ensure expansion and growth • Lead, coach, and mentor, and support a team of sales representatives • Work collaboratively with multiple SubjectWell teams to define solutions for customers • Identify and qualify business opportunities related to potential projects requiring recruitment services for target accounts and prospective accounts • Effectively obtain requests for proposals and strategically place SubjectWell in a position to win • Develop strategic account plans for yourself and support your team in their account plans • Lead your strategic account meetings, and support your sales team in their client meetings • Continually build your pipeline and concisely & accurately utilize our SalesForce.com platform for you pipeline and forecasting • Continually work with your sales representatives to help them build their pipeline and progress opportunities to closure. • Monitor the pipeline and forecasts of your sales team to accurately convey this information to the Chief Commercial Officer when called upon.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with selling solutions in the Life Science Industry • Experience with selling solutions and or services that positively impact Clinical Trials • Experience selling Patient Recruitment solutions • 10+ years of experience leading a sales team selling solutions in the Life Science Industry • Proven collaboration and relationship-building skills – with experience developing working relationships at all levels of management • Excellent presentation and communication skills • The ability to analyze potential opportunities and develop strategies to support increasing SubjectWell awareness and engagement with target customers • Experience defining, developing, selling into large accounts in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment • Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage and fully integrate & collaborate with other internal SubjectWell teams. • Positive, outwardly energetic style that leverages relationships and inspires confidence in others • Use your proven analytical skills, critical thinking and writing skills to effectively present information and respond to questions internally and externally from leadership and clients. • Must be a quick learner who excels in a rapidly changing environment with an ability to solve practical problems • Superior negotiation skills and sound business judgment to quickly assess situations and opportunities • Anticipate potential issues and suggest creative alternatives to overcome barriers • Ability to work within a multi-functional, team structure and to motivate team members and peers with strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Requires above average attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational, interpersonal, time management, and team-oriented skills
