• Electro-Matic, a SunSource company, has helped transform American industry by supplying automation components and solutions. • The role focuses on generating new business sales in Memphis, TN and surrounding areas while maintaining customer relationships. • Sales representatives are involved with the full sales cycle, engaging with various stakeholders to present proposals and execute sales plans.

Requirements

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in electrical engineering; or three or more years' successful sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Four-year Electrical Engineering bachelor’s degree preferred • 2+ years' experience within industrial outside sales • Experience selling industrial automation components and solutions is strongly preferred • A Valid Driver's License in good standing is required • Occasional out-of-town travel required • Travel may include overnight stays, weekend assignments, and international opportunities. • Strong business, creative, and technical writing skills • Proficiency in MS office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills • Effective interpersonal, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills • Attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to multitask
