Description
• Syapse is a real-world evidence company on a mission to improve outcomes for all cancer patients. • You’ll be part of a team of epidemiology experts critical to the design and execution of our real-world data (RWD) studies. • Interact with cross-functional teams to drive the development of real-world data insights. • Design, implement, interpret, report and publish results of observational research studies. • Collaborate with external and internal partners on RWD studies and projects. • Stay current with and adopt emergent analytical methodologies and tools.
Requirements
• A PhD with an emphasis in epidemiology • Knowledge of RWD study design and execution • Experience with data analysis, specifically from observational study designs • Experience with epidemiological, registry, EMR, and/or claims data • Experience using R, Python, SQL or similar and a highly technical acumen • Experience summarizing data for presentation • Effective scientific communication; written and verbal • Bonus Points: Cancer expertise, strong publication history, & teaching/mentoring experience
