• The Sales Manager will lead and oversee the dealer facing sales team within the Motor Division. • They will be responsible for supporting and motivating sales staff, developing sales strategies, setting goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. • They also monitor and analyse sales data, manage budgets and resources and coordinate with other departments and stakeholders. • As a Sales Manager at Tandem your focus will be on setting sales targets and objectives for the Account Managers, sales forecasting and budgeting, sales strategy development, research customer needs, achieving dealer sales targets and develop skills continually for hiring and leading team members.
• Have effective communication styles and methods used to interact with car dealers, and third parties. • Can work independently, setting your own priorities and taking a lead role. • Are prepared to take accountability for your own performance. • Can communicate verbal and written information to customers in a way which is clear, fair, and not misleading. • Can work under pressure in a target driven environment, with the capacity to prioritise tasks. • Have excellent organisational and time management skills. • Can research, digest, analyse, and present material clearly and concisely to senior management and director level. • Have excellent people skills. • Can work proactively and think strategically in a fast-moving environment. • Can have flexibility and adaptability to a wide variety of tasks and to work extra hours where required to meet deadlines and deal with client queries. • Can create and implement a sales plan. • Can mentor and coach our sales team.
