📋 Description

•Telesat (NASDAQ and TSX: TSAT) is a leading global satellite operator, providing reliable and secure satellite-delivered communications solutions worldwide to broadcast, telecommunications, corporate and government customers for over 50 years. •Telesat Lightspeed, our revolutionary Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network, scheduled to begin service in 2027, will revolutionize global broadband connectivity for enterprise users. •The Sales and Business Development Account Executive will develop and execute Sales and Business Development Strategies for Telesat Lightspeed LEO Services and Solutions in the CEU region.

🎯 Requirements

•15+ years of sales and business development experience within the Satellite and/or Telecommunications Industry. •Extensive knowledge of EMEA and more specifically CEU markets, key players and dynamics •Extensive experience in Satellite and/or Enterprise domains is required •Must have a proven track record in Business development and Sales activities where you exceeded targets and captured new accounts with Large TELCOS, MNOs and Managed Service providers. •Experience in designing and executing sales strategies and sell Telesat's value proposition of our GEO and LEO Lightspeed offerings at the “C suite" level. •Ability to manage in a dynamic, high-growth environment •Experience in winning complex sales (orchestrating deals across different stakeholders (Technology, Engineering/Planning, Procurement, Operations, Business); Strong negotiation skills; Consultative sales experience •Experience with standard sales tools, ability to design complex account plans •Ability to provide detailed report and status on sales activity as well as executive briefing for key negociation •Design execute BD and sales plan; market review and assessment, intelligence and competition analysis; support product development and customers feedback, support tailored customer value proposition design. •Excellent command of English (written and oral) •Additional language would be a plus
