• The Operations Lead Analyst works as an integral part in achieving the Individual Family Plans (IFP) and Cigna Small Group (CSG) Premium/financial operations oversight and project support. • Partnership and collaboration with internal and external partners on project support and execution. • Vendor oversight to ensure performance improvements. • Manages the daily premium operations activities for IFP and CSG. • Support and complete all month and quarter end accounting activities. • Support and complete internal and external Audits. • Compiles and analyzes financial results for identification of improvement opportunities with recommendations that directly impact the business bottom line. • Participates and gets involved in the evaluation of business requirements and the development of new procedures/processes/policy solutions to address complex needs in quality premium reporting and revenue capture. • Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. • Provides measurement and cost savings support (development, reporting, validation and improvement) with IFP and CSG vendor partner. • Negotiates change through matrix partners; serves as a procedural or workflow subject matter expert for matrix partners and management. • Identify opportunities to build cross functional relationships with other IFP and CSG teams like Accounting, Finance and IT. • Supports Operations Manager in identifying, defining, and maintaining cross-functional program and project work.

Requirements

• Developing and managing business intelligence solutions using Alteryx preferred. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. • Strong influencing and matrix management skills preferred. • Self-motivated learner with the ability to learn on the fly. • Ability to work independently and in conjunction with co-workers of all levels. • Ability to create and implement contingency plans and solutions for problems that arise. • Demonstrated ability to drive results required. • Comfortable with raising questions, issues, ideas or suggestions to co-workers of all levels across all organizations. • Act with a sense of urgency to research questions or issues brought by the team. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Access. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Visio preferred. • Experience with relational databases and XML preferred.
